Please join us to help People’s Resource Center!  Our goal is to collect over 40,000 pounds of food  which will feed the pantry  for a month.
Last year, 7,275 families visited their food pantry and received 35,156 grocery carts full of food.
 They distributed 2.6 million pounds of food. 
Total individuals served (food pantry plus all their other programs): 31,600 
51% of their clients are working families.  36% are children.
 
How can you help?
-Participate by putting a donation box at your location and encouraging people who visit your business to participate! You can pick up your donation box at the Fall Open House on September 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM –7:00 PM and start collecting!  This food drive will last until October 24, 2015 on Make A Difference Day.  Sign up at www.westmontchamber.com for your donation box  and help benefit our community!
-Encourage people who visit your business to participate by offering a special for anyone bringing a donation. Let the Chamber know what specials you are offering and we will help promote!
If you cannot have a box at your location, there are other ways to help!
-Bring a food donation to one of our participating businesses (check listing at www.westmontchamber.com)
-Bring a donation to the Trick or Treat Trail on October 24, 2015 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. There will be a People’s Resource Center truck parked in the lot at Burlington and Cass Avenue accepting donations
