1. Introductions, Agenda Additions & Minutes: The meeting was called to order at 8:08 a.m.      
A. Introductions were made by attendees.
B. Host Introductions: The Birches in Clarendon Hills
C. Approval of October Meeting Minutes: A motion to approve October 6, 2023 minutes by
           Mark Davis and second by Julianne Rizzo, approved by all.
 D. Additions to the Agenda:
    Request to review and update the online directory by the end of the
          Year, update Linked-in, FB, Website and google.

2. Old Business:
A. Dementia Friendly Westmont Updates: Commendation from the Mayor of Westmont presented by the mayor. Memory Cafes are having good attendance and  held throughout the Downers Grove Township. Some have better attendance than others.

B. 2024 Scope of Work discussed and finalized:

• SRG Senior Expo scheduled for Thursday, 4/25/2024, 5-6:30 and Friday, 4/26/2024 8:30-11@the Westmont Park District. The Expo Committee is Julanne Rizzo, Mark Davis, Mary Ferguson and Alison Clemmens. John Christiansen and Karen Spencer were added to the committee.
• SRG Business After Hour event is March 6, 2024, 5-6:30 will have a St. Patrick’s theme, committee co-chairs are Shelly Lindsay, Karen Spencer, Shelly Lindsay, and Mark Davis
• Additional Discussions: Mini Expo at Mays Lake.

C. 2024 Committee co-chair, secretary and recruitment co-chair were confirmed:
Shelly Lindsay and Mary Ferguson,  Co-Chair
Catie Cassity and Sheri Krupres, Co-Secretary
Mark Davis and Joanne Rancic,  Recruitment Co-Chair
Motion to approve referenced committee chair and co-chair by Shelly Lindsay and Mary Ferguson approved by all.
Committee Chair and co-chair will be approved at the November 3^rd Executive Board meeting.

3. New Business:
A. Senior of the Year Award Review Team: Nancy Congden, Mark Davis, Sheri Kupres
B. Updates from SRC Members: Gaye Wagner, I4S ownership update, Mike Hensley, Burgess Square rated #1 in Illinois by Newsweek, John Christiansen in Suburban Life

  The purpose of this committee is to promote chamber businesses/organizations whose products, services and resources are for senior citizens and their families. This committee will also keep like minded businesses informed on local resources that can be useful to them and to share business leads.
