- 2022 Senior Resource Committee Scope of Work Recap
- Responsibilities: SRC Info Booklet, SRC Public Community Presentations, WPD Senior Center Expo.
- Committee Leadership: Co-Chair: Dan Rattery, John Christian and Gaye Wagner, Meeting Reports
- Meeting Schedule: Confirmed first Friday of each month from 8:00am to 9:00am.
- SRC Info Booklet - Online and to New Residents, Westmont Train Station & Members. Manage the booklet containing information on committee members and associated community organizations
- Dementia Friendly Westmont Resource Guide & Training. Conduct training by Mary Ferguson, Susan Frick and Patti Tercovic.
- Conduct WPD Senior Health Fair & Expo in Westmont and Participate in Oak Brook event. Promote and attend expos targeted to the senior community
- Participate in Community Open House and General community events and volunteers can.
- Meet and greet Community at Fire, Police, Chamber Open House Events as available committee members can participate.
- Create SRC Video Presentations for social media.
- Create, Promote and Present monthly topics to the community at the Westmont Public Library
- SRC Facebook Page – Increase visibility in the area and enhance communications

c. Meeting Schedule-Meetings will continue the first Friday of the month from 8-9:00 a.m.
d. SRC Info Booklet-It is online and goes in the new resident packet. Those in the book are
required to be members of the chamber and regular attendance.
e. Dementia Friendly Westmont Resource Guide & Training-Mary Ferguson will lead with
assistance from membership and guidance from Susan Frick, Rush and Patti Tercovisc
from Aspired Westmont.

f. Community EXPO’s-it was agreed that SRC participate in area expo’s-should there be a lead
person to organize?

committee volunteers. Members agree a yearly calendar with events would be helpful
to plan for participation

The purpose of this committee is to promote chamber businesses/organizations whose products, services and resources are for senior citizens and their families. This committee will also keep like minded businesses informed on local resources that can be useful to them and to share business leads.
