Briefing on Happy Hour Laws & Video Gaming Proposal
The Village of Westmont will host a briefing for all liquor license holders on recent "Happy Hour" liquor law changes from the State of Illinois, as well as proposed regulations for video gaming within the Village of Westmont. Speakers at this briefing will include Chief Tom Mulhearn and Deputy Police Chief Jim Gunther. Staff will be available to explain an upcoming text amendment that will be considered to regulate video gaming. The Village is considering a minimum distance requirement between each video gaming establishment. A public hearing will be held on August 12th at 7:00 PM in the Village Board Room on the 2nd Floor of Village Hall at 31 West Quincy
