Colon Cancer Awareness & Screening Fair FREE Colon Cancer Screening March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month and we are encouraging individuals aged 45–70 to take advantage of this opportunity for a free screening test. It can be done at home and returned to any AMITA Health lab site for processing. Screening Includes: • Registered dietician on hand to demonstrate proper food choices and portion sizes • Oncology RN to describe screening method, drop off location, follow up procedure • Gastroenterologist MD available for a period of time to answer any and all questions • Representative from the American Cancer Society will have resource material and information • Free screening kits will be available • Inflatable colon on site to demonstrate healthy versus non healthy colon tissue
